We designed and built this Sun Goddess dress for a prominent environmentalist and guest of honor of Bette Midler's annual Halloween party. The dress is made of 3 separate sheer layers with gold appliqués hand sewn into the top layer.
This is a battery powered light up ballerina dress we designed and made for THE RIDE in Times Square. The dress has hundreds of LED lights inside the dress. The dress wirelessly communicates with the shows controls which programs and animates the lights which change color and sparkle to the music.
Originally designed and built for the project THE RIDE, this opera dress was created to withstand the elements. This costume would be worn by an opera singer, performing in the round at Columbus Circle, during various seasons.
This dress was created for Blue Man Group's first live tour. Worn in this photo by Annette Strean from Venus Hum, the dress was built to pulsate light along with the music.
We've built many versions of the live wire dress for Blue Man Group through the years. This version is a replica of the pulsating wired dress in grayscale, so it can be easily animated in post-production.
